Why Mosquitoes Buzz in People's Ears?
(is originally an African legend, and retold by an illustrator, as well as animated by an American film maker.)

legend,or myth→
When something happened which we cannot figure out ,someone made up a story to creat a rationale(基本原理; 理論說明) to convince yourself that it is true.

The experience to be bugged by mosquito in dorm(dormitory).
→the story is a "rationale" to convince you that the phenomenon is normal!

The reason we call it "MYTH"(迷思)
"Catch me if you can!
 But you cannot!"

Onomatopoeia => wastle woostle; wasawusu: moving sound of the snake.
                                  mek: through the reeds.
badamin: the iguana lumbered on, bobbing his head.
                                  krik: the rabbit bounded.
                                  kaa: the crow cried.
                                  zeee!: the mosquito buzz.

Five choices of words to express
annoy; frighten; scare; startle; alarm

annoyed → frightened → scared → startled → alarmed → killed
Chinese version cannot demonstrate the fun of the "wording".

No conflicts, no story!
"the mother won't wake up the sun, so the day can't come."(conflict)
When mother owl’s wrath being demonstrated at King Lion’s council (climax), she feels quite satisfactory for the mosquito murderer has been punished.
So, she goes ahead to wake up the sun again, so the dawn can come (resolution).
